On one side of the canal not too far, there's the Penny Ferry (24p) to cross the canal and get on the footpath on the other side. Less than a mile away there's the Bridgewater canal and the Bridgewater Way. |

The Pickering Arms Pub & Restaurant is in the historic village of Thelwall The Little Manor CountryPub & Restaurant situated behind the Pickering Arms on a nice land surrounded with mature trees. These 3 pubs are around 1 mile away. It's a very quiet area here. Grappenhall is between : Stockton Heath on one side (1.5 mile : Somerfield, shops, banks, Morrisons, pubs, etc.) and Lymm on the other side (2.5 miles : Somerfield, shops, banks, pubs, etc.) |
