Warrington is a boom town. The new shopping mall is directly accessible from the recently built bus station. Two train stations in town center : Warrington Bank Quay railway station and Warrington Central railway station. The Trans Pennine Trail is about 500ft from the flat. Many beautiful parks and gardens.

Manchester canal
View of the Manchester ship canal, the locks and the Trans-Pennine trail.
On one side of the canal not too far, there's the Penny Ferry (11p)
to cross the canal and get on the footpath on the other side.
Less than a mile away there's the Bridgewater canal and the Bridgewater Way.

2 min. walk to the doctor, hairdresser, community center, Spar,

The Penny Ferry Pub is short distance on the other side of the canal,
The Springbrook Pub & Restaurant is on Stockport road (great food !)
The Pickering Arms Pub & Restaurant is in the historic village of Thelwall
These 2 pubs are around 1 mile away.
It's a very quiet area here.

Grappenhall is between :
Stockton Heath on one side (1.5 mile : Somerfield, shops, banks, Morrisons, pubs, etc.)
and Lymm on the other side (2.5 miles : Somerfield, shops, banks, pubs, etc.)


Lidl
Lidl is 10 min. walk from the flat on the other side of the canal in Latchford village.
Shown here is how to get there by car and by foot (crossing the canal locks).
More shops, Co-op, beauty salon, chippys, bars, Community Sport Center,
charity shop, etc. in the village.


Warrington town center
Warrington town center is only 2.5 miles away. 10 minutes by car.
Many shops and Victoria Park on the way there.
